Culottes can always be dressed up with a pair of heels, a nice clutch and the right top, but dressing it down and making it street style friendly is not as easy. I put together a casual culotte look by pairing this great plunging top (which can be paired with flowy pants and shorts) with these dark patterned pair of culottes. I love the pattern and deep pigment in these culottes and think the black top accents it well. To dress down this look, I put a pair of slip-on sandals and kept the accessories to a minimal. The simple shoes and faint jewels brings the outfit down a notch and allows it to be worn in a laid back way. Of course you can put away the sunnies, carry a clutch and put on some nude heels to make this look night ready. Be daring by putting a bralette and light blazer over it for a night ensemble.
