As the unofficial start of Summer is upon us, it is time to gear up for the BBQ looks. MD weekend is the perfect time to showcase your new Summer wardrobe and show off more skin as the sun gets hotter. I have put together two patterned outfits which would be perfect for any event you have coming up this MD weekend. On the left I have placed flowy pants (my favorite) with a slouchy tee. For a top-swap try tucking in a slouchy button down to create an effortlessly chic look. The pants are amazing because they have this leafy print that takes us back (technically retro?). They are lightweight, breezy, and comfortable. The shirt is also lightweight and comfortable and looks great tucked into the pant. I like the navy color because it brings out the deep hue in the pant. If you don't feel comfortable in a full loose fit outfit, try pairing it with a tighter tank or cropped top. Put on a gold necklace to add some accessories. I love these sandals because they are fun for a daytime party and the brown coincides with the navy hues. At night you can try to make the outfit more fancy with some heels. For the second look I paired these fun flowy pink and black shorts with a cropped black tee. In a casual setting, try putting a slouchy button down tucked into the shorts. For shoes I put on these cayenne sandal/loafers that are black and match with the rest of the look. I love the layered necklace paired with this look to give it some edge. You can change up the accessories and shoes as well.
