As Wikipedia (and anyone involved in the film industry) officially describes it, "The Cannes International Film Festival, is an annual film festival held in Cannes, France, which previews new films of all genres, including documentaries, from around the world." As the new films are surely amazing, the film festival is about more than the films. Cannes represents the unofficial beginning of summer in the fashion world with gorgeous couture designs. My two favorite looks from the festival so far are Zoe Saldana in Victoria Beckham, and Blake Lively in Gucci. Both of these women always shine on the Red Carpet (just take a look at Blake last week at The Met Gala) because they know what works best for their bodies and they play up on that. Zoe looks amazing in the white gown because it makes her skin and her lips pop. Blake works this burgundy colored design that cuts just right at the leg, exposing her toned calves.
