I love love love flowy shorts. They are way more flattering than jean cut-offs and looks great with a tight or (somewhat) flowy top like this one. With this flowy top I would tuck in the front to give your body some definition/shape. You can pair it with sandals or booties to make it edgy. For a nighttime look transform it to heels and a boyfriend blazer.
