Maxi skirts have seem to become a summer staple. They come in all sizes, lengths and cuts. I love a patterned one because it is more flattering and fun. This black and white one is great and can be paired with a more fitted top like this short, quarter length sleeve one. You can go with either a cropped or full length top. If you go full length I suggest tucking in the top to give you more of a shape. One great way to make it a work outfit on a hot day is to put a casual button down with it and tuck in the front to give it a lax yet professional feel. Flat gladiator sandals work best because with the length of the skirt you don't want to be tripping over your heels and no one will see the shoes anyways. I put a rose gold watch that has such a great face on it and a rose gold necklace with it and a peachy crossbody to finish the look.
