Within the past few weeks culottes seem to have taken over as a Summer staple. I am still not sure how I feel about them but they seem to be growing on me (as I love any kind of fancied flowy bottom). I chose this cool pair to showcase because it has a different pattern than any other and if you're going to attempt this trend why not take it as far as you can go?! If you don't want to dive right in and would rather slowly delve into this trend, try taking a single colored bottom more specifically a deeper hue. I pulled the deep blue in the pattern and found a blouse to match. I would tuck in the front to give your body some definition. You could also go with a button down, fitted top, crop top, etc as well. For shoes I think sandals would be a great daytime match and the night I would go with heels. I would stay away from flats as I think the tight shoe mixed with the loose leg cut at the calf wouldn't flow as well and can cause a stubby look. To give the top half something special, I threw on a statement necklace. For finishing accessories I paired this gold watch, white crossbody and these circle sunnies.
